    Sustainable health and Gender Equality  

    This first part of the the e-module 'Sustainable health and Gender Equality' is designed for the purpose of COIL (Collaborative online international learning) course, but could be used in a traditional classroom setting as well.

    • In groups share and discuss meanings and perspectives on gender.

    • This activity raises awareness of your gender based identity.

    • Following the instructions, discuss cases of gender issues (see the folder below) arising in school environments. 

    • You are asked to select one case to discuss in groups.

    • Here you will learn the timeline and structure of COIL. The COIL consists of two virtual lessons and three stages of work, each described in detail below.

    • This presentation gives you some basic idea of COIL

    • In pairs of study groups share your ideas and opinions why gender equality should be one of the goals of sustainable development. 

    • Read the instructions and do the activity, ideally in groups (if online, in international online teams). 

    • For your group work in international teams. Study the instructions for each of the four stages of your international online collaboration.
